The Society for Range Management’s 71st Annual Meeting, Technical Training and Trade Show will be held January 28 to February 2, 2018 in Sparks, Nevada.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Empowerment through Applied Science.”
Land managers and practitioners apply information from scientists and provide the bridge from raw science to applied science. This bridge provides the opportunity for testing, monitoring and mid-course corrections, not only to application designs but to the raw science itself. During the process, and with due diligence by all three groups working in concert, both the application designs and the science can be refined and improved. A more balanced and interactive modus operandi among the three entities will improve management of rangelands for sustainable use of multiple rangeland resources and simultaneously empower the rangeland community.
