Matthew Fletcher has worked for the WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Rangeland Science branch since 2006. All his work has been in the Kimberley grasslands: monitoring rangeland condition (part of West Australian Rangeland Monitoring System), conducting rangeland condition assessments on leasehold land, land regeneration work (water ponding) and delivering industry education packages (Grazing Fundamentals).

Matt’s main interest is working with land managers to align stock numbers and available feed to maximize long‐term enterprise returns.

Matthew has been a member of the Australian Rangeland Society since 2006.
