At the February ARS Council meeting it was decided to invite eligible members (those who joined the Society before December 2021) to apply for travel grants to support attendance at the Broome ARS Conference. To give Council time to assess applications, please have them to the ARS Secretary Bob Shepherd (boblee.sheperd@bigpond.com) before 5.00pm (Qld time) Monday 17th July.
Applications are particularly encouraged from persons who have little or no organisational support, and those who are early in their rangeland career. Further information about the Travel Awards is available on the ARS website at https://www.austrangesoc.com.au/awards.
Applications must be submitted on the form entitled “Application Form for Travel Grant or Scholarship” which can be downloaded here.
