The International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists planning is moving ahead swiftly! More and more organisations around the world are joining the movement and Regional Support Groups have formed to develop country-specific action plans, social media initiatives and some countries are working on policy strategies to take to their governments.

Australia needs more members in our Regional Support Group to decide how we can best use this proposed International Year to support Australian rangelands and pastoralists. We especially need members to help with social media, and members from Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory, Victoria and even Tasmanian – we welcome First Nations people!
