Jayne Cuddihy is a multi- award-winning professional communicator with 20 years’ experience reporting, writing and broadcasting across Australia and overseas.
She comes from- and is deeply committed to- regional Australia and its people and has worked tirelessly to bridge the city-country divide through engaging storytelling. Jayne has worked for RuralPress, News Ltd and the ABC. Now running her own media company with her husband Martin, she has a diverse portfolio in freelance writing, podcast hosting, public speaking, broadcasting, communications consulting, producing, editing, website management and project management. She has won three media awards for her coverage of rural issues.
Currently Jayne is the Executive Producer of There’s an Elephant in My Paddock podcast, the host of Beef Australia’s What’s Your Beef? podcast, the host of AgriFutures Australia podcast, a regular contributor to Graziher and Galah magazines and several industry publications. She also manages the website for the Australian Rangelands Society and the Dalrymple Landcare Committee.
Jayne has completed the Advancing Beef Leaders leadership course, as well as a number of industry training and personal development initiatives. She is involved in a number of community organisations including a Next Gen beef group, rural fire brigade, business groups and her local rugby club.
Now based back home in rural North Queensland with Martin and their three young children, she’s working on adding ‘cattle producer’ to her CV.
